Sekelompok sahabat sedang dalam perjalanan untuk menyaksikan pertandingan American Football tingkat universitas ketika mereka justru terjebak di kota mati bersama dua pembunuh bersaudara. Mereka mendapati bahwa dua pembunuh bersaudara itu telah meluaskan daerah pertunjukkan utama – House of wax – dan menciptakan kota yang hampir seluruhnya terbuat dari lilin dan juga terdapat mayat-mayat yang terbungkus lilin. Sekelompok sahabat ini harus menemukan jalan keluar sebelum mereka juga menjadi penghuni permanen dari House of Wax.
